A Trip Back In Time...
I recently sold a house to a buyer where the house truly was stuck in a different time. A time when I wasn't even born! It was an Estate sale in a cute neighborhood, great Alexandria location, large yard that just needs a little modernization. A great buy for someone who has the time to make a few updates. This house came complete with a clock in the kitchen like I have never seen. It was actually built into the wall as shown in photos 1 and 2. The funny thing is that they probably sell something like it at Target designed by one of their trendy designers. All things really do recycle back. I also thought the linoleum floors were interesting. They are much higher quality than anything you could get today. The light switches as shown in photo 4 are quite interesting. The fire alarm shown in photo 5 was an actual bell. Finally, the property even came with a vintage Eureka vacuum!
Anyways, congratulations Brian on your first home! We are very excited for you! I enjoyed seeing the plans for the kitchen remodel which is going to be awesome once completed!
