Free One Year Old Republic Home Protection Warranty When You Buy a Home With Kim Darwaza
One of the incentives that I have always offered my buyer clients is a free one year home warranty when they buy a home with me. Now more than ever with short sales and foreclosure properties that have not been maintained as well an home warranty is beneficial to have. Two of my recent buyers have used their warranties for Air Conditioning repairs and Refrigerator repairs. These repairs would have cost my clients $240 and $312 if they didn't have a home warranty. The way it works is that when you have a home maintenance issue such as a plumbing, or major system problem you call the home warranty company and they send out one of their approved contractors to fix the problem. There is a one time service fee of $75-100 that you have to pay and everything else is generally taken care of. The home warranty does not cover the roof, carpet/flooring, etc. After one year it is up to you to decide whether or not to renew the warranty but I definitely recommend it.
